The Holmes Jr. High Makerspace is a place for our students to explore and tinker with a number of tools and technologies.
Students can use a wide range of equipment and tools to create, invent, program, design, construct, and fabricate something new.
We have equipment for sewing, knitting and crochet, computer programming, film making and editing, green screen special effects, small electronics, robotics, computer aided design and animation, and more.
We are open to students during Tiger Time. To use the makerspace, just click on the Project Proposals link, above, and fill out a proposal form. If your proposal is accepted, Mr. Prouty will request you from Tiger Time to come in and get started. If your proposal needs some polishing, Mr. Prouty will email you with some tips for your resubmission.
